Help Phillipines Relief Effort
In the wake of Super Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, the Fuel Relief Fund (FRF) will be focusing its relief efforts in Tacloban, the capitol city of the Philippine province Leyte. After deployment, Fuel Relief Fund will begin providing gasoline and diesel to aid individuals, other non-profit organizations, clinics, medical groups, or others in need. Typically fuel is used for generators, pumps, vehicles, heating and other mission-critical needs.
The FRT effort is uniquely a petroleum industry related relief effort and needs marketer financial support. When disasters happen, it has been demonstrated that fuel is as essential as food and water to provide health and safety to the victims. The easiest way to contribute is though the FRF web site www.fuelrelieffund.org. Marketers can also send checks to FRT at the address listed below. FRT is a charitable non-profit organization and contributions are tax-deductible.
