South Jersey Chapter, Trainer, F.W. Webb Scott began his career in 1985. During his 33yrs at Harriett’s Energy he did installations, service & became the service manager. He currently is a HVAC technical support & trainer for FW Webb. He is involved with NORA & Oil Heat Cares.

Past President Al Breda
Fairfield County & New Haven Chapters, Service Manager for Sippin Energy, Monroe, CT Al began his career as an oil truck driver. His passion is Education including teaching HVAC and burner classes at night school. Formerly he was chairman of the scholarship committee. He like many of our officers has spearheaded and participated in a number of Oil Heat Cares Projects. Al sits on the school board at CEMA as well as the Stratford, CT branch of Porter & Chester Institute. He is a volunteer proctor of NOCTI. Al is responsible for a service department of 18 individuals including 13 technicians and 2 comfort specialists.

Vice-President George Fantacone
Rhode Island Chapter, Vice President Service Management, Santoro Oil Co., Providence, RI Chairman of the Membership Committee & Golf Tournament George began his career as a technician in 1984. He holds various licenses – RI Master Pipefitter, Master Electrician, Oil Burner Contractor, MA Oil Burner Technician, Master Sheet Metal, Universal Refrigeration and the NORA Gold Certificate. With the responsibility of over 200 people, George wears many hats for his company.

Vice-President Dave Westerfield
President, Fairfield County Chapter Member of the Membership Committee Dave is an Operation & Service Manager for Jennings Oil & Propane in Danbury, CT. Dave started his career in 1983 as a fuel oil delivery driver and shortly thereafter found his calling as a service technician. Over the years, he has worked his way through the field as a Service Technician, Field Foreman, and former Business Owner and has been a Service Manager for the past 17 Years. He is a licensed S1 Unlimited Heating & Cooling Contractor along with holding a SM1 Sheet Metal license in the State of CT. In addition, he also holds numerous industry certifications in Heating, Cooling, Piping, and the Building Performance Institute. In his free time Dave is an avid Motorcyclist and Golfer.

Vice-President Angel Gonzalez
New York City Chapter, Territory Manager for Carlin-Hydrolevel Dave Nelsen Scholarship Committee Chairman and Education Committee Angel has 41 plus years of experience in the energy field and has come full circle in the industry. He started his career with a small oil company in the Bronx, Combind Oil, and when they were acquired by Petro he worked four years with them as a field supervisor and then new equipment installation manager. He currently works for Carlin-Hydrolevel. Angel has a passion for Education and has been very involved with schools in the New York City area.

Vice-President Robert O’Brien
Long Island Oilheating & Cooling Chapter, Technical Heating Company, Mount Sinai, NY Member of Education Committee Bob began as an entry level service technician with a local burner service company and prior to owning his own company, he was the general manager of a small retail fuel oil dealer. He has been president of Technical Heating, since 1988 and his main focus is on the sales and installation of high efficiency systems. Bob holds certifications in NATE, NORA Gold, NORA Tank, Suffolk County Plumbing and Electrical Licenses.

Secretary Steve Schwanger
Southeast PA Chapter, Owner, Schwanger Brothers & Co., Ephrata, PA Starting out as an apprentice technician and fuel driver fresh out of trade school, Steve quickly came up through the ranks of technician to service manager to general manager to eventual company ownership in 2017 with plans of expansion into other fuel products and services. Steve is still very much an active owner and enjoys talking with customers and employees as well as taking the fuel delivery truck or transport out to fill in on deliveries or make service repairs when needed. 2020 marks Steve’s 35th year in the service and repair industry and credits the OESP organization and its mentors/members with his growth and success in the industry.

Treasurer Paul Cuprewich
Garden State Chapter, Service Manager for J.W. Pierson, Glen Ridge, NJ Paul is the Education Chairman for his chapter. Additionally he has held numerous roles of leadership within his chapter and is currently the President. He along with his team of supervisors and technicians are all NORA Silver certified. He is also a licensed electrician.
