As President, Ralph sits on all committees. Ralph trained under his dad and officially started in the industry in 1969. He’s been with Parker Fuel since 1994. He has taught HVAC at community colleges. Ralph holds a Maryland State HVACR License, in addition to a host of industry certifications; he also has NORA Silver & Gold Certifications. Prior to becoming President of the association, Ralph was Education Co-chairman. Ralph has 17 personnel that include 7 licensed HVAC technicians, 2 burner technicians and a mix of other talents including part-time seasonal drivers.

Al began his career as an oil truck driver. His passion is Education including teaching HVAC and burner classes at night school. Formerly he was chairman of the scholarship committee. He like many of our officers has spearheaded and participated in a number of Oil Heat Cares Projects. Al sits on the school board at CEMA as well as the Stratford, CT branch of Porter & Chester Institute. He is a volunteer proctor of NOCTI.  Al is responsible for a service department of 18 individuals including 13 technicians and 2 comfort specialists.

Scott began his career in 1985. He joined Harrietts Energy in 1986 as an installer. Scott has NORA and Gold certifications as well as numerous other industry certifications. Scott has 9 HVAC technicians and installers reporting to him in addition to a plumber, 3 equipment specialists, 2 customer service reps and 5 others that support the service department.

George began his career as a technician in 1984.  He holds various licenses – RI Master Pipefitter, Master Electrician, Oil Burner Contractor, MA Oil Burner Technician, Master Sheet Metal, Universal Refrigeration and the NORA Gold Certificate.  With the responsibility of over 200 people, George wears many hats for his company.

Member of the Education Committee
Curtis has been with White Mountain Oil & Propane for 16 years. He has developed and presented training for his company as well as for National. He holds a Master License for fuel oil in Maine, fully licensed for propane/natural gas in both Maine and New Hampshire and is certified for air conditioning. He is also active in his community.

Angel has 41 plus years of experience in the energy field and has come full circle in the industry. He started his career with a small oil company in the Bronx, Combind Oil, and when they were acquired by Petro he worked four years with them as a field supervisor and then new equipment installation manager. He currently works for Carlin-Hydrolevel. Angel has a passion for Education and has been very involved with schools in the New York City area.

Paul is the Education Chairman for his chapter.  Additionally he has held numerous roles of leadership within his chapter and is currently the President.  He along with his team of supervisors and technicians are all NORA Silver certified.  He is also a licensed electrician.

Member of Education Committee
Bob began as an entry level service technician with a local burner service company and prior to owning his own company, he was the general manager of a small retail fuel oil dealer.  He has been president of Technical Heating, since 1988 and his main focus is on the sales and installation of high efficiency systems.  Bob holds certifications in NATE, NORA Gold, NORA Tank, Suffolk County Plumbing and Electrical Licenses.

Service Manager, Harris Comfort, Bristol, PA
Jay began his career with Harris Fuels in 1978 as a fuel delivery driver. He worked through the ranks as a technician to become a service manager. Jay is NORA gold and NATE certified. He has served as a volunteer fireman for more than 43 years, currently holding the position of Chief Engineer and Chariman of the board of trustees.

Service & Installation manager for East River Energy, in Guilford, CT, where he is starting his 30th year. George also quotes all the heating and air conditioning equipment for the company. He is a CT Licensed Heating & Cooling Contractor and is NORA Gold certified. Has been a member of OESP for 39 years and has served on the Convention Committee for the last five years.

Dave served as National President from 2004 to 2008. He has served on the Convention Committee since 2008. In 1974 he started his oil career, as a driver/service technician and moved on to service manager in 1988. Dave is Chairperson of the Oil Heat Cares Foundation.
